The top memecoins have been disclosed by Coin Market Cap and the market seems to be on fire. The leading memecoin is $WIF, followed by notable performances by $DOGE, $BONK, $PEPE, $FLOKI and $SHIB.

 

$WIF Steals the spotlight

$WIF takes the spotlight with a surge of 10.30% increase in the last 24 hours. This surge is the result of a growing presence on social media platforms.

This also indicates that the newer and lesser-known memecoins can easily gain traction from investors and can become the next big thing. 

$DOGE and $BONK were seen to have had strong gains in the past 24 hours. 

$DOGE has been in the news since the day it was launched and it continues to do so. Currently, there has been a 6.82% gain in the last 24 hours. One of the reasons why this memecoin has been constantly gaining popularity is because of community and ongoing endorsements. 

$BONK, a prototypical meme coin,  has gained a 6.13% surge in the last 24 hours. It has reached this height because of the community following that it has and it keeps on increasing day by day this meme coin has shown potential in the rapidly moving meme coin sector. 

Other top performers include: $PEPE, $FLOKI and $SHIB

$PEPE has notably risen by 5.58%, followed by FLOKI by 3.945. Even though these coins are new to the listing, they are proving themselves to be strong contenders to look out for. Both these memecoins have been carrying out their unique brandings and with their active community , investors who are looking for diversification are easily able to spot them.

$SHIB or Shiba Inu, also known as the “Dogecoin Killer” has seen a rise of 2.42%. Shiba Inu has carved out its path with the development of its ecosystem which includes the NFTs, staking opportunities, and the Shibaswap. However, the gains made by Shiba Inu are less but remains as oldest contender in the market. 

With a rise in the memecoin community, it can be deduced that with a growing fascination with meme coins, more active communities, and developments, this sector of cryptocurrency is set to make a unique space for itself in the crypto market.
