Kamala Harris Tops Trump on Polymarket

Amid the crypto market chaos, the odds of the Democratic race having the highest office in America have improved since Kamala Harris took over from Joe Biden. During the Biden presidential run, Donald Trump had better odds than Biden. Now, Kamala Harris has flipped those odds, and Trump follows second.

Kamala Harris and Donald Trump’s bets are a close call

In the last few market hours, the bet odds for US POTUS have changed, and at times, it has been a close call. The “Presidential Election Winner 2024” bet segment currently has $575,323,083 tied to it.

 Harris leads the POTUS odds at 52% at $61 million. Republican candidate Trump follows second with 45%, but his bet money stands at $71 million. Is that odd?

Trump’s chances of being elected dropped from 70% in mid-July. 

Also, the “Popular Vote Winner 2024” bet on Polymarket has Harris in the lead with 76% and $6 million. On the other hand, Trump has a 22% chance with $7 million tied to it.

There is a possibility Trump’s odd will change after his interview with Elon Musk today. Musk tweeted that the X space would be fun, adding, “Entertainment is guaranteed!” Earlier, conference, sparking fresh crypto debate.

There is a $892,260 bet on “What will Trump say during Elon interview?” The lead goes to MAGA, followed by crypto and censorship. Other small bets are on trans and mars.

Harris’s campaign team has started reaching out to the crypto industry as crypto becomes an election conversation. Crypto elites like Michael Saylor have refused to say who they are endorsing for POTUS regarding crypto regulations. Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz have yet to openly address crypto.
